The first edition of The Practice of System and Network Administration was a success. Now we're working on a second edition. The first edition was a success because it recorded all the wonderful stories and lessons learned from our fellow system and network administrators. Now we need your help to create the second edition. Here are the rules:
  1. You have 'read only' access without registering. But we'd love for you to register when you feel ready.
  2. Any content contributions are appreciated and may be edited into the book. That's why, we hope, you are contributing. Right?
  3. We'll give you credit in the frontmatter under "Acknowledgements". You'll be able to show it off to your friends!
  4. If you want to contribute a significant amount of text, for example an "anecdote" or "side bar" story that re-enforces a point made in the book, and you want to retain the rights to that text (i.e. publish it elsewhere) we have a contract you can sign that makes our lawyers happy.
